Henry Blackaby once said, "A friend is one who challenges you to become all that God intends. Look at Jonathon. He was in line to be king, but he loved his friend David and encouraged him to follow God's will, even though it meant he would never become king (I Samuel 19:1-7). The mark of a biblical friendship is that it draws you closer to Christ."
